The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China regarded common prosperity as an essential requirement of Chinese modernization and proposed the important goal of in-depth integration and development of culture and tourism. In the face of the new stage,new situation,and new challenges of Chinese modernization,the task of promoting common prosperity through the integrated development of culture and tourism is particularly prominent and urgent. This paper first proposes and elaborates on the theoretical connotation of integrated development of culture and tourism promoting common prosperity,analyzes its practice feature,basic logic,and other theoretical issues. It then explores the formation mechanism and measurement indicator system of integrated development of culture and tourism promoting common prosperity. On this basis,realization path for integrated development of culture and tourism promoting common prosperity is proposed through five dimensions of integration: product integration,industry integration,element integration,market integration,and value integration. Finally,conclusions are summarized and future research directions are identified,including the basic theoretical research from the interdisciplinary perspective,the empirical research under the combination of multiple methods,and the case study based on field research.
