Based on the perspectives of multiple elements flow of transportation, information and enterprise, the social network analysis method is used to measure the characteristics of the network of Northeast cities from three aspects: network density, centrality and core-edge structure. From the network features, analyzing the formation mechanism of network features. The results show that: 1) The interaction between traffic and information flow elements is more obvious in the northeast cities, and the network connection is relatively closed. Under the background of multiple flows, the urban network structure shows that the intra-provincial links are stronger than the cross-provincial links, and the urban cross-provincial linkage development pattern is far from being formed. 2) The four major cities of Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun and Harbin are in a dominant position in the multi-network; the two urban agglomerations of mid-southern Liaoning and Ha-Chang have a higher level of development in the network. 3) The multi-stream perspective has four core-edge structure types: traffic information type, transportation trade type, information trade type, and traffic information and trade type. The core city has a strong leading role. And it is concentrated in the mid-southern Liaoning and Ha-Chang. The marginal area in the state of subordinate has not yet entered a good stage of linkage development. 4) This paper holds that resource endowment, space-time compression, regional economy, policy guidance and other factors together affect regional network structure characteristics.
