Spatial Layout Evolution of Urban Commercial Gymnasium and Its Influencing Factors:A Case Study of Harbin City

The spatial structure optimization of urban commercial gymnasium is a significant content and embodiment to construct the healthy city,improve residents' happiness and urban high-quality development. This study,based on the points of interest (POI) data of commercial gymnasiums in Harbin municipal district from 2013 to 2018,uses kernel density estimation,standard deviational ellipse,average nearest neighbor analysis,geo-detector model and other methods to explore its spatial layout evolution and impact factor. The following are the results: 1) The spatial distribution shows a stable trend in the early stage and then steps into the leap forward stage in the suburban. The direction of spatial distribution is consist with the direction of urban expansion which moves from the northeast to the southwest,and the gravity center of the agglomeration distribution moves to the southwest. 2) The spatial layout characteristic of Harbin commercial gymnasiums changes from single-core to multi-core agglomeration,and the city's overall spatial layout presents the spatial clustering state which mode is "central circle layer + peripheral group". 3) As the distance to the city center increases,the agglomeration degree of commercial gymnasiums shows a low-high-low distribution. Moreover,the distribution of adjacent urban arterial roads and residential quarters have become the main influence factors for the spatial layout of commercial gyms in Harbin. 4) From the perspectives of influencing factors,there is an obvious tw-factors enhanced interaction and synergy between the influencing factors. The interaction of any two driving factors has a stronger explanatory degree on the spatial differentiation of commercial gyms than a single driving factor. Economic quality,household consumption capacity,purchasing power of residents and education levels are internal stimuli factors. Population size,transport accessibility and rental cost are external triggers. These factors affect the spatial layout of Harbin's commercial gymnasiums. Community environmental factors have a weak influence on the layout. Formulation of urban planning and the macro-control of public policies have indirectly stimulated the spatial layout of the commercial gymnasiums.
