Abstract

Combining green development with urban land use efficiency, This paper applies SBM-Undesirable model, kernel density estimation and Tobit regression model to analyzing regional differences, dynamic evolution and influencing factors in efficiency of urban land use in 30 provincial administrative regions of China from 2005 to 2015. The results are stated as follows: 1) In terms of regional differences, urban land use efficiency, under the concept of green development, is on the rise, three major regions and different provincial administrative regions all exist differences. As for average values of urban land use efficiency among three regions, the eastern China is the highest, the western China is in the middle and the central China is comparatively low. The high-value areas are mainly distributed in eastern China and part of the western region. The middle-value and low-value regions are mainly located in central China and part of the western China; 2)In terms of dynamic evolution, the density curve as a whole shows a "rightward movement" trend, urban land use efficiency in China has different development levels and speeds in different time periods. The kernel density function of urban land use efficiency in three regions is differences in the position, kurtosis, change trajectory in shape and degree of change, and has the characteristic of polarization; 3) As per the analysis result of influencing factors, policy factor, urbanization factor, scale factor, society factor, structure factor, and environment factor are the main factors that lead to regional differences in urban land use efficiency. From the results of the measurement analysis, there are obvious differences in urban land use efficiency between traditional influencing factors and influencing factors under the concept of green development.
