Coupling and Coordination Relationship Between Local Financial Investment in Education and Economic Development Level in China

Taking 31 provincial-level administrative units in China from 2009 to 2019 as the research object and on the basis of clarifying the coupling mechanism of local fiscal education investment and economic development level,this article establishes an evaluation index system for local fiscal education investment and economic development level,and uses a comprehensive evaluation model And entropy weight method is used to measure the comprehensive index of local financial investment in education and economic development level,and uses the coupling coordination degree and spatial autocorrelation model to analyze the temporal and spatial characteristics of their coupling coordination and their spatial correlation evolution pattern. The results show that: 1) China's fiscal education investment level has increased significantly from 2009 to 2019. The fiscal education investment level in the central and western regions has developed faster and has great growth potential. The eastern region has slowed down its development speed and was overtaken by the central region. The level of economic development has risen slightly,but the growth rate has slowed down. The economic development level of the central region has increased rapidly,while the economic development level has declined significantly in the northeast. 2) The coordination degree between China's fiscal investment in education and the economic development level is mainly out of balance from 2009 to 2019. In term of spatial distribution pattern,it presents declining trend from the east of China to the west of China,the coupling coordination degree in the northeast of China is lower than that in the middle of China,but higher than that in the west of China. From time series analysis,the inter-provincial differences of the coupling coordination degree are gradually shrinking from 2009 to 2019,it has shown a slow increase in most regions during the study period. The trend of balanced development has appeared. 3) From 2009 to 2019,the coupling coordination level between China's fiscal education investment and economic development level has always shown positive spatial autocorrelation,and the agglomeration characteristics have gradually become prominent,and mainly manifest the high-high agglomeration in the eastern region and the low-low agglomeration in the western region. From 2009 to 2019,high-high agglomeration areas have increased,and low-low agglomeration areas have decreased.
