Abstract

The evolution of the industrial lands has played an important role in the process of the development of urban agglomeration of China, and has significant effects on the development direction, spatial structure and environment. This paper takes the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Urban Agglomeration as the example, uses the spatial analysis to research the evolution of industrial lands of urban agglomeration. The figures of distribution of various industrial lands were established to express the evolution situation of all kinds of industrial lands. The grid system composed by 16524 hexagonal grid cells was built to process the spatial analysis on the evolution of industrial lands. The four dimensional hill diagram was built to intuitively express the evolution of industrial lands in a macro perspective. The dynamic curves of the expansion of industrial parks and the evolution of various industrial lands were generated to describe the effect degree of all industrial parks and all kinds of industrial formats on the evolution of industrial lands in urban agglomeration. Then the characteristics of the evolution of industrial lands of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Urban Agglomeration were summarized: Firstly, it experienced a process of fragmented development-migration and aggregation-continuous siege. Secondly, the number of industrial parks in the urban area is too more, so the homogeneity competition is existing. Thirdly, the main form of industrial lands expansion is developing the new area, and the transformation and promotion on the existing industrial lands are not enough.
