Ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin is an important national strategy. Exploring urban ecological resilience is one of the important contents to promote the construction of high-quality and high-standard urban agglomeration along the Yellow River basin. Based on the evolutionary resilience theory,this paper evaluates the ecological resilience of shandong Peninsula urban agglomerations in the Yellow River basin in 2011-2020 with the help of entropy weight TOPSIS. The spatio-temporal variation and evolution of urban ecological resilience is analyzed by the methods of kernel density estimation,Theil index and gravity center-standard deviation ellipse,it identifies the main obstacle factors by the means of the obstacle degree model. The results show that: 1) From the perspective of evolutionary resilience,urban ecological resilience is an inherent attribute of urban ecosystem. Whether or not urban ecology is disturbed,it always has the dynamic ability to defend before disturbance,respond in time when disturbance occurs,and constantly learn and innovate. 2) From the time dimension,the urban ecological resilience in Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration shows a "fluctuation" and orderly improvement,forming an evolutionary trend of "low agglomeration and high convergence". 3) In terms of the spatial dimension,the urban ecological resilience presents the "the low concentration,high value dispersion" unbalance distribution and obvious polarization characteristics in capital city circle,and is higher in Jiaodong plate than in the southern economic zone. The regional difference is mainly rooted in inter-regional differences,the value of inter-regional difference ranks from the high to the low,which is capital city circle,Jiaodong plate,the southern economic zone. The spatial evolution presents a northeast-southwest trend,with the overall moving toward the northeast. 4) In terms of obstacle degree,the rate of harmless treatment of domestic waste,the number of R&D personnel per 10,000 labor force and the per capita green area of park are the main factors restricting the urban ecological resilience of Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration.
